Solo Traveler
The hotel was under renovations at the time of my stay. I did not like the noise, other than that, I have no complaints. The hotel was as clean as can be expected under the circumstances.

Very friendly desk staff (evening), but no excuse for a cookie to be on the bed of a room, that had supposedly been cleaned.

Was acceptable. This is the 3 La Quinta I have stayed in and I will not stay in another one unless it is the only motel in area. Have had bad experiences when comparing to other motels I have stayed in at same prices. Others were much nicer. ...read more

Solo Traveler
Close to Fort Jackson; Rooms are ok, but have a few problems. Namely, they are old and it shows in areas. The room was not done on one day, but that could be because I got in very late. The staff was very courteous. I am not sure if they are remodeling other floors, but they need to be updated. The beds were good, the toilet ran all night, and the AC drove me crazy with the noise. But like I said, It was not the staff's fault. There are plenty of restaurants close by and overall, I gave it a rating of 7.5.
